| Regional College of Management Autonomous (RCMA) holds the first rank among the University-affiliated colleges in the country by COSMDE B-School Ranking 2005 and It is adjudged consistently as the 4th best B-school in Eastern India after IIM-C, XLRI and XIMB (CSR – GHRD ranking of Competition Success review 2010 & According to 2010 Competition Success Review survey RCM has been ranked No.4 Rank in top B-Schools of Excellence of India category. |
| In (CSR – GHRD ranking of Competition Success review 2010) RCMA, Bhubaneswar is placed as 15th in Industry. It is ranked as 29th among the Best B-Schools in the country (Business world, 28th June 2010).It is placed amongst the top 20 B-schools in the country with A 2 grade & A+ as per (AIMA – IMRB (A Business Standard Publication) Best B-school Survey September 2010 and Business India 2010). It is the first management institute in Orissa (a state in the Eastern parts of India) which was established in 1982 in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa. Bhubaneswar provides an advantage as an emerging centre for sectors such as IT and ITES, health services, telecom and real estate. The institute is located in the heart of the INFOCITY amidst companies such as Infosys, TCS and other MNC firms. Since its inception, the institute has developed immensely in all areas from infrastructure to the quality of instruction. |

RCMA is continuously involved in training the intelligent, but poor and less fortunate students to face the challenges of the business world. | The curricula are looked upon not merely from the angle of classroom teaching but from their direct relevance in terms of application in industry, where students are supposed to work. The various courses undertaken are aimed at making students self sufficient and becoming “job creators instead of job seekers” by applying the knowledge in real life situations. The contents of the curricula are used for transmitting the skill from “the lab to the land”, by undertaking an applied research approach that addresses the needs of the local community. |
| The two year MBA course is designed to prepare students for junior and middle management positions. This course provides professional knowledge, employable skills and positive attitude to deal challenges in business in six trimesters, including the summer project work. Beside the two year MBA Programme, it runs one-year diploma courses for value-addition to the existing regular courses. These one-year diploma courses include, Aviation Management, Banking and Financial Services, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Management, Human Rights Management, Healthcare and Hospitality Management, and Telecom Management. Our MBA students enroll themselves in these Diploma Programme as value addition for enhancing their employability. |
| RCMA also offers doctoral research program in Management, Computer Science in collaboration with Royal Seema University. Besides doctoral students of Utkal University, Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Sambalpur University, Berhampur University, Fakir Mohan University & North Orissa University are also working at RCMA as the place of research. |
