| Dr. Sujata Mangaraj is Honored With the 2010 ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award |
| The Association of Business Schools and Programs proudly announces that Dr. Sujata Mangaraj, Regional College of Management Autonomous, Bhubaneswar, India, has received the 2010 Teaching Excellence Award for ACBSP Region 8. The award is supported in all regions this year by a financial contribution from the University of Indianapolis – Athens Campus, in Athens, Greece. As a regional recipient, Dr. Mangaraj will now be considered for the 2010 ACBSP International Teaching Excellence Award, to be announced in June. |
| Overland Park, Kansas, USA - April 16, 2010 - Dr. Sujata Mangaraj, Regional College of Management Autonomous, Bhubaneswar, India, has been named a regional recipient for the 2010 ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award. The Association of Business Schools and Programs recognizes individuals each year who exemplify teaching excellence in the classroom. The University of Indianapolis – Athens Campus is the financial sponsor for the 2010 Teaching Excellence Award. |
| Dr. Mangaraj will be honored, along with other regional recipients, at the 2010 ACBSP Annual Conference, June 25-28 in Los Angeles, www.acbsp.org. She will receive a medallion and a $100 check. Two International Teaching Excellence Award recipients will be announced at a special Salute to Regions luncheon, one from a baccalaureate/graduate degree-granting institution and one from an associate degree-granting institution. As a regional recipient, Dr. Mangaraj is now a candidate for the international award. |
| Dr. Prabir Pal, Director, Regional College of Management Autonomous, had this to say about Dr. Mangaraj: “Her meticulous yet dexterous mastery on multitasking performance has drawn the attention of all at various levels / spheres. | The Associate Degree Commission of ACBSP established the International Teaching Excellence Award in 1995 to recognize outstanding classroom teachers. In 2002, the Baccalaureate Degree Commission created a similar award to recognize excellence in teaching at the baccalaureate degree level. ACBSP is the only specialized accrediting body for business schools that presents an award recognizing excellence in teaching. |
| ACBSP currently has more than 729 members in 32 countries and nine regions. Regional College of Management Autonomous is located in ACBSP Region 8. |

| Grant and Awards: |
| Faculty awards and endeavours is a factor taken into consideration to assess its performance effectiveness. The faculty members are recognized for their excellence by various institutes for the papers and cases that were presented. Their publication in national and international journals is increasing every year. They also present research papers in national and international conferences. |
| University Grants Commission (UGC) awards the faculty to carry out minor major research projects . Five of our faculty members are the recipients of this grants. The faculty members are also awarded with other funded projects by AICTE. Six of the faculty members of the institute are registered as doctoral research guides with different Universities, of the state. Our Director , Dean has received many awards out of which ACBSP Teaching Excellence to our Dean, as the first Indian to receive the award is note worthy. RCMA has received many awards and the most prestigious autonomous status from UGC, accreditation from NAAC & NBA |
| They like the way RCMA handles change management and renders service to the community. All these results are due to the participative management style of decision making followed by RCMA. |
