About the Company: 

SBI stands for State Bank of India, which is a government-owned multinational bank that was founded in 1955 and is the result of the nationalization of eight regional banks. The primary purpose of SBI is to provide banking and financial services to individuals, businesses, and other organizations in India and around the world. It also offers specialized services such as wealth management, foreign exchange services, and international banking services. The Process of Hiring SBI

The hiring procedure of SBI, or State Bank of India, typically involves the following steps: 

  • Notification: SBI releases a recruitment notification on its official website and in leading newspapers, announcing the vacancies, eligibility criteria, and other relevant details. 
  • Application: Interested candidates can apply for the vacancies online by visiting SBI’s official website and filling out the application form. They must upload their photograph and signature, and pay the application fee. 
  • Selection Process: SBI conducts a selection process that typically includes a written examination followed by an interview or group discussion. For some positions, there may be a preliminary examination before the main examination. 
  • Written Examination: The written examination tests the candidates’ knowledge of the subject matter and may include multiple-choice questions, descriptive questions, and/or objective-type questions. 
  • Interview/GD: Candidates who clear the written examination are called for an interview or group discussion, where they are evaluated on their communication skills, personality, and subject matter knowledge. 
  • Final Selection: The final selection is based on the candidates’ performance in the written examination and interview/GD. SBI may also take into account the candidates’ past academic record and work experience. 
  • Medical Examination: Candidates who are selected for the position may be required to undergo a medical examination to ensure they are physically fit to perform the duties of the job.
